  • 1:9 people age 65 and older (11%) has Alzheimer's Disease
  • More woman then men are diagnosed each year
  • The direct and indirect costs of Alzheimer's and other Dementias amount to more than $148 billion annually
  • 15 million americans provide unpaid care for people with Alzheimer's Disease and other Dementias
  • 83% of the help provided to older adults in the U.S comes from family members, friends or other unpaid caregivers
  • About 1:3 caregivers is age 65 or older
