What does your program offer?
" Our program provides an individual plan of care for each participant regarding their current medical, social and cognitive needs. It provides social, recreational and educational activities as well as caregiving for activities of daily living. We ensure all needs are met on an individual basis while in our program."
When do I know when its time to consider enrolling?
"When you have an open diagnosis of a life-changing condition."
How can I get involved?
"Enrollment in our Program requires a visit with our Executive Director, to determine the current needs and staffing requirements of each individual. It is encouraged, and all are welcome to tour our facility and meet our staff. Please contact Village House for available time 479-855-4449"
What are your fees?
"We are pleased to provide a program at an affordable rate. We have Full Time, Part Time & Drop-Off Services. All activities, supplies, and meals are included in rates with the exception of a meal charge for the Drop off Service.There is a one-time registration fee of $30 and the first day of attendance is free. Clients are billed on a monthly basis and fee's range from an effective hourly rate of between $10.84- $15.00"
If I were to Donate funds, how is my money used?
"Village House is a non-profit program, operating on low participant fees and community, individual donations. All donations are used for program funding directly for our participants and operational needs of the facility.Donors have an option to restrict funds to a specific project or item on request."
What is your attendance policy?
"Village House is a planned and supervised program. Upon admission, you will choose an attendance plan that works best for you and we believe this a benefit to caregivers regarding schedules, appointments and last minute needs. You are welcome to attend at any time during our operating hours, however, we do ask for 24-hour notification of attendance with our Drop-Off Service. Regularly attending clients have an option for vacation time with proper notification procedure."
Do you offer medical care?
"Village House does offer activities of daily living. We do not provide Skilled Nursing Care, but can assist with toileting, feeding, medication reminders, ambulation and safety precautions." All Direct Care Staff maintain State required certification in order to provide services.
What is your staffing ratio?
"Village House staffing is based on participant daily requirements. We also have a thriving volunteer program, who are scheduled daily for companionship and supervision."
